A day I will never forget and a day that even now

10 years later still brings me to goosebumps

even at the mention of it.

We'll never forget and we'll always remember those who lost

their lives that day and those who did defending

our country and continue too.

and for all those first responding who tried to save so many lives

Trying To Stay Cool!!!

Nico and I went with friends to a water pad and it was a blast!!! Running, jumping, hiding (because you can't see through water!!) and just trying to stay cool from this heat wave. The best part.....it was FREE and at a park so we had plenty to do on a hot day!

Our 1st Fish of the Season!!!

Nico and Daddy went fishing today and caught our very fish of the season! Of course we sent him right back home, but as you can tell Nico was unsure but very proud of his catch!!!!

Hiking Fun

Over the Holiday weekend my Aunt, Uncle and Cousin came up to visit from Florida and it was a busy weekend with family! Some of us went to the Metro Park to see the beautiful sights and to hike a few miles! It was a great day with family, great scenery and fun!

It's Tee Ball Time!!!!

Nico started t-ball this month and it has definitely been an experience. We have had so much fun hitting the ball, trying to catch the balls, and running around the bases. Although I am not sure he gets the concept yet, he is sure having fun making new friends and hopefully learning the basics of t-ball. Hopefully by next year he'll be ready to really learn the basics of baseball!!!

Sisterly Love!

Nico and I drove to North Carolina a couple of weekends ago to visit family. It was a great time celebrating the girls birthday's and seeing them for the first time in over 2 years!!! Nico loved being with his cousins and especially swimming in Aunt Andi's pool! He is such a fish and has no fear which is good, but can be scary too!

Hopefully there will be more weekends like these spending time with family and enjoying the beautiful sunshine of Summer!!!

Memorial Day was another fun family day! We enjoyed two picnics and a fun parade that Nico caught way too much candy....but what's a parade without a bag full of candy?!? Seems like Summer hasn't even began but it is half over already!!

Canoe Days

I know I am a little behind but I am trying to catch up...it was a beautiful day on the Canal to take a canoe ride. Now I am not very adventureous but I am always willing to try something once. We asked my cousin Julie and her boyfriend Matt to come with us and we had a great time. Nico wasn't so sure about the canoe at first but about halfway through he wanted to help Daddy paddle!! We were laughing as I paddled for a just a few minutes and Julie asked why I wasn't helping......my response....."after 15 years I don't have to paddle anymore." We laughed and Daddy of course just rolled his eyes and kept paddling!!!

It was another summer adventure for the record books!!! Definitely something we will be enjoying again and afterwards we all got ice cream! I love days like these!!!

We had a great day on Mother's Day at the Cleveland Zoo, although it was VERY crowded, we parked and spent a few hours going around the Zoo. It was a great day and although we didn't make it through the entire Zoo spending the day with my two favorite boys is always a blast!!!!

The new Elephant Exhibit was awesome and one of these days we'll go back when it's less crowded so we can truly enjoy their beauty!
