HAPPY 4TH BIRTHDAY,

NICOLAS AARON!!

Dearest Nico,

I know we say this every year, but it is so hard to believe you are 4 years old today!!! You are growing up so fast and time is flying by, it seems like just yesterday I was sitting on your rocker saying Nicolas Aaron it's time to come meet the world!!! I cherish those few Mommy moments that you take me back to being Mommy's Baby Boy, and I know they are few and far between...and as you grow older it's won't be "cool" to be with Mom & Dad but you'll always be our little boy....just as your Dad is his Mom's little boy at 34!!!

This year has been awesome watching you learn so many new things, from your ABC's to learning Mommy's favorite songs on the radio.......learning to write your name, knowing your letters and your address. I almost cried when you drew a picture of Mommy on Daddy's birthday card, I couldn't believe how much you knew and how grown up it looked....you are growing up so fast, and I don't know when you turned into a little man from our little baby right before our eyes. We sit and watch you play and wonder what you are thinking, what you dream about at night, when you "pretend" call people what those people are saying back to you...my only wish is that you'll keep that imagination and innocence going and never give up on your dreams. You have also learned that you have choices and can be stubborn as can be, and although it can be difficult to take....we love you more than words can say for that because it shows that your personality is coming forward to a place where you get to choose and take the consequences for those choices.

Sometimes I think you think it's hard to be 3 because you want to be with the "big" kids, but yet you aren't quite old enough and Mommy wants you to stay a baby forever.......our advice to you don't grow up to fast Nico, you'll have plenty of time to be big.....be you for the moment and your time to play with the "big" kids will come soon enough! We know that's easier said then done, and you will understand too.....one day, and we'll all sit down and you'll say Mom you were right I wish I was 3 again!

So as we say goodbye to year 3, we say hello to a new adventure with year #4!!!! We definitely can't wait see what adventures we will all get into and the things we will see through your eyes.

We love you to the Moon and back,
