Favorite Authors

With my birthday in a couple of weeks, my new year resolution is to read more. Reading is one of my favorite things to do and I am passionate about certain Authors, but most of those Authors I have read the entire collection while patiently waiting for new books.....

So I have had a good friend, April, give me her list of her favorites, and I have picked up a few new Authors here and there from other friends but I am asking all of you......

Who is your Favorite Author?

My only requirement is that I do not read Science Fiction, and Vampire, Scare the heck of me so I can't sleep at night books are also out. Not really into the pure Romance kind of stuff, but do like a good love story....such as Nicholas Sparks stories and such.

So hopefully with your help, and the help I have already gotten I will have a good list to take to the library to accomplish my goals of reading more and watching less TV.
