Vacation 2010

Part I

I know all of you have been patiently waiting for our Vacation story, but it's been crazy getting back into the groove of things. I have decided to capture our story in Part's so here we go.....sit down and enjoy the ride........

We started out at 6AM on Saturday morning, I know it's hard to believe that I was up that early let alone our little precious Nico......who like Mommy is such a gem early in the morning....the drive was uneventful to Statesville to see Nico's Grandparents, Aunt and Uncle and we arrived around 12:30PM. Of course Mommy got to sit in the backseat and listen to Diego all the way there and back, and to Ocean Isle....but again I regress! Then it was off to Lake Norman, NC for a fun boat ride where Nico even got to drive the boat...boy was he excited and loved hitting the horn! We ate lunch, cruised and had a great time. Then we came back to fish, run around the docks and even though Nico got a little bump on his head and almost fell in the water because he wasn't careful and totally his fault, it was a great day for all!
