Introducing my Newest Purchase!!!

I have been wanting a new camera since Nico's Christmas Program and none of my pictures came out on my old Sony Digital Camera, so we decided to splurge and get a decent camera. Which is funny because when we bought our first digital camera back 9 or 10 years ago, it was 3 times the size, twice the price and had a floppy disk for the memory. It's amazing how the technology has changed!!!! Now I just have to figure out to use it, and hopefully the class the camera shop offers will allow me to be able to turn it on....LOL! Seriously turning it on and taking blurry pictures is my specialty!!!!

I will definitely leave the professional photography to my friend, Jennifer, and I will continue to take my thousands of snapshots of our lives. So wish me luck and figuring out which buttons and settings to put it on....maybe I am way over my head!!!!!

Now just time to decide which strap I have to have!!! I found the cutest one's here. Here are my favorites, but so many cute one's it's to hard to decide....which one do you like better or a different one if you feel like cruising the site???

Until our next "picture" adventure......

Fun Day at The Children's Museum

Last Saturday, our friends Vicky, Jeff & Dash all drove up to The Children's Museum of Clevelandwith us. It was a nice but dreary day and we spent a couple of hours going through the three levels of fun! It wasn't quite what we expected but nonetheless Nico had a great time, running through the different activities and playing with the kids. They had a train table, which I am sure we all knew was a hit but they also had a RTA bus, car, Grocery Store, Bank, water table, TV camera and so much more!!! They also had a huge room that was a giant sandbox, but we stayed clear of that because getting Nico out of that would of been a fight and the other little boy was only 6 months old so we figured that maybe next time.

The day ended with shopping in the gift shop and can you guess what Nico picked????? You are right, a train!!! Then we went to a place called Five Guys and Fries in Fairlawn, they had great BIG cheeseburgers and fries that I didn't have to eat dinner I was so full! It was a great wintry fun day, that was enjoyed by all!

Until our next adventure......

My Little Life

Bouncing from blog to blog, which is a cool past time to read other people's lives and to see that even though sometimes things are crazy, I am not the only one! Plus I love to read cute stories, and about others travels. So while bouncing today I found this fun game called Five Question Friday, which asks five questions that you answer and allows your readers to get to know you a little bit better. So here we go......

Five Question Friday

1. What is better, growing old with out money or dying young and wealthy?

2. Who takes out the garbage at your house?

3. Have you ever had the same dream many times?

4. Can you play a musical instrument?

5. If you owned your own store, what would you sell?
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

1. What is better, growing old without money or dying young and wealthy?

Ummmmm.................of course growing old without money! Who says money gives you anything but troubles anyway, the more you have the more you spend so really even when you have money, do you have it? At least if I live a long time, I can enjoy my simple life and see my son grow into something great!

2. Who takes the garbage out at your house?

Well it is suppose to be Daddy, but of course if the trash is overflowing and needing to be taken out I will do it but it goes in the garage for Daddy to throw in the outside can! Nico on occasion will want to help out and drags it to the door, but the bag is almost as big as he is!

3. Have you ever had the same dream twice?

As weird as it sounds, yes, and when I have the dream it continues on just a little bit more kind of like a movie. And usually I am watching myself in the dream which is really kind of creeps me out too!

4. Can you play a musical instrument?

As sad as it is to say, yes I was a Band Geek and I can play the clarinet which I started in the 5th grade through Graduation. I even picked my little sister's clarinet up a few years ago and I can still remember a few songs from HS. I also played the Alto Clarinet and Trombone, but the Trombone I never learned it was just to sit next to a boy I liked!

5. If you owned your own store, what would you sell?

I think a cute bookstore with lots of overstuffed chairs would be awesome. I love to read and it would be a great place for mothers to come and just take some "me" time reading and maybe even an occasion book club. Just a place for the love of reading!

There you are, a little bit more information about me and hopefully my friends and family learned something new they didn't know before!

If you are interested in participating in Five Question Friday too head on over to Here.

Until our next adventure....The Children's Museum tomorrow......wish me luck!

Great Buy!!!

Look what I got for $18.50!!!!! My Mom called me yesterday and asked me if I still wanted a shoe/bench holder thingy....no idea what it really is called. It has doors where the shoes are now, but it's awesome and real wood!!! Can you believe it was normally $149?!?!?! I think I got the deal of the year and am so excited not to have to see shoes or coats lying around anymore...at least I hope Nico and Daddy can remember to put things away.....we'll see!

Until my next "great" purchase or adventure......

How Cute is this???

Aunt Adriane and family, got the cutest pillow for Nico for Christmas so I had to share!!! It will go perfectly with his "Thomas/Football" themed room! Isn't the cutest thing? I can't wait for him to see it, he'll be so excited!!!!

She had it made from another fellow Army Wife who makes beautiful quilts, pillows and so much more! I have to give her credit for her artistic and wonderful sewing abilities. Her website is
Here.

Happy Wednesday!!!

Eleven Years Ago

What were you doing 11 years ago? I remember it like it was yesterday.....it was the eve of our Wedding and the forecasters, like today, were calling for a storm to be coming through Northeast Ohio. I just kept saying, "A little snow would be nice for a January Wedding" but little did I know an ice storm was on the way. It made it quite an interesting drive to the rehearsal dinner as well as the next morning, but it all worked out and by the time we got to the Church it was a beautiful, wintry day!!!

Walking down memory lane.....it's been a wonderful 11 years of being married to my partner in life, my best friend, someone who can drive me up the wall, but I love more than I thought possible. I have to say these are the best times of our lives as we are "living the dream!" We have a beautiful son, who we adore more than either of us thought possible, a dog who has been with us almost the entire marriage and loves us unconditionally, and a life that keeps getting better and better. We have grown up together in a sense and now we are growing old together, which when I was 20 I never thought I could say but now it makes sense.

I am not going to lie, marriage is hard but as long as you have respect, love, trust and have admiration for each other that's what marriage is about. And I can honestly say that I love my Husband, my Child's Father, my life partner and my best friend more than ever and know that we have 60 more years to continue to love each other more.

Happy 11th Anniversary, Nico's Daddy, I love you!!!!

Fun Times in 2010

Our little precious angel has decided that he HAS to go to Toys R Us and the only way that he is allowed to go to pick out yet another train is to poo in the potty. So what does our little comedian do??? He makes Daddy sit him on the potty yesterday because he just has to go...so we get all excited thinking he has finally made the transition from going in his pull-ups to now he is a big boy and ready.....right? Wrong, he sat there for 25 minutes, singing, laughing and talking to himself and Daddy trying but no such luck.....so what does he say when Daddy finally says it's time to get off and try later?????

"Daddy, I want to go to Toys R Us!!!" and Daddy says not until you go poo on the potty, so what does Nico say??? "I want to go to Toys R Us, back on the potty!!" Of course it was almost nap time so pull-ups went on and poo didn't happen.

But I guess this is in the right direction and hopefully this new decade and year will prove that we'll be a pull-up free household soon.....................I PRAY!!!!!

Until our next adventure.......
